Building our first custom designed home brought excitement and anxiousness.  After interviewing several builders and reviewing previous jobs, we felt confident and at ease with Hayden.  We were impressed with his homes and looked forward to working with him.

On entering into our building contract there were three major issues that needed to be addressed: Cost, Competency and Professionalism. Now with the success of our renovation I feel I can more accurately assess each point.

Cost: Hayden’s quote was the most accurately constructed with regard to both material costs, labour and time. His pricing was very transparent and easy to understand and cost adjustments made during the build were done fairly and with the full knowledge of all parties involved.

Competency: There was an expected level of builder competency given that he is a Master Builder. He never faulted on this point and appeared to apply up-to-date building techniques as well as seeking professional advice when an issue fell outside his scope of expertise. I found him to be a very effective problem solver both in his method of thinking and in his ability to get a successful result.

Professionalism: Hayden sets a high professional standard in dealing with all people involved in the build from the client, tradespersons, architects, council and engineers. He is reliable, prompt and courteous. His amiable nature makes him approachable and ensures he has a good relationship with everyone he deals with. This is reflected in the level of respect his co-workers show him.
